When you own a dog, you have an additional family member. Some people don’t even treat their dogs as pets. Instead, they treat them as one of their own. Dogs also serve a vital role in the family – they assume the role of babysitters for the children!

We often see touching videos of dogs bonding with babies and kids – we see how they protect, interact, and play with the youngsters of the household. It’s often a touching sight to see huge dogs being extra gentle during their interaction with babies. Most of the time, there are funny special moments shared between the human and the canine.

Like this Siberian Husky from one viral video – who caught the attention of people with his funny antics, the hilarious video captured footage of a Black Husky imitating the moves of a cute nine-month-old baby. In the video, people can see the adorable duo sitting side by side, with the dog fervently watching the baby.

What’s funny is that the Husky copied every move and noise the baby made. It is not unusual for Huskies to imitate noises- most especially sounds that are similar to howls. After all, they got their penchant for howling from their wolf ancestors. And since babies’ cries or laughs sound a bit like howls, it is easy for Huskies to imitate them.

According to the baby’s family, the Husky protects and watches their baby like a hawk. They need not worry every time the Husky babysits their children, mainly their nine-month-old baby. The dog also provides a lot of entertainment for their household – especially for baby, who always squeals in delight during playtime!

How amazing it is to see dogs play an essential role in a child’s growth and development. They stimulate cognitive skills and practice play, therefore developing their motor skills and athleticism. The baby’s family is glad to have their Husky with them – he indeed serves as the baby’s playmate and best friend for life!
